RUSTY
(placed in August 2008) Rusty has found
his new forever home with a family in Indianapolis that is truly
willing and able to work with him and give him all the love and
care that he needs. Tracy and her 14 yr. old son are working
with Rusty successfully on his possessiveness issues. He
is enjoying his long walks and playing with his other rescue
family members, Rocket a greyhound and Maggie a cavalier.

GATOR
(placed in July 2008)
Gator's story is a heart-warm tale with a happy ending.
This year has been especially hard on area shelters due to the
heavy rains and flooding most of the state experienced over the
months of May and June. The Richmond, Indiana shelter
like so many others was already over capacity and had a sign on
their door saying that they could not take in any more dogs.
Well, one morning, the shelter employees found Gator tied to
that door.

He is
a 15 month old male in great health. He is a sweet loving boy
that starves for attention and some good food.
Fortunately, it did
not take long for us to find Gator his new forever home in
Zionsville, Indiana where he will get to romp and play with his
new family that includes two teenage boys.

From the pictures, it
looks like Gator is fitting right in and getting some long
deserved rest.

SPUDS (placed in June 2008)
It
didn't take long for Spuds' foster family to fall in love with
this sweet, happy go lucky guy.

Spuds fit right in with his new pack which
includes 3 other bull terriers and a daddy with a heart of gold.

Spuds and his new pack enjoy a huge backyard
where they can run free and frolic.

ZANE (placed May 2008)
The
Central Indiana Bull Terrier Club is happy to announce the
recent placement of "Zane" who is now residing in his new home
in Wausau, WI. Joyce and Blane and their teenage son
Jordan welcomed "Zane" with open arms along with sincere
dedication, determination and total commitment needed to make
this adoption a success!
We know that in "Zane's" BIG heart he will be
forever grateful to this loving, caring family for giving him a
second chance for a joyful life he is so deserving of. His home
is also shared by a former rescue female BT named "Melinda" as
well as a spunky little Bichon named "Duke".
On behalf of the CIBTC we would like to
personally thank our Club's member Shannon Bradbury for her
effort during the fostering and rehabilitation of "Zane"
throughout the rescue and adoption process.
"Zane" is a handsome 4 yr. old brindle and white male. He weighs in at a substantial 65-70#'s.
LEXI (placed February 2008)
We
are pleased to report that "Lexi" has been placed locally in her
new loving home with her new owner Doug and his mother Virginia.
"Lexi" is enjoying being the center of Doug's universe and I
understand they are pretty much inseparable! "Lexi" spends the
work day with Doug at the office and now has graduated into
riding along with him in the official "big truck"! Their
evenings are spent together at various area parks where they
enjoy long walks together. She reportedly sleeps with Doug on
her back with her feet in the air with a fan directed at her
tummy to keep her comfortable :) It's obvious that she is a very
contented little girl and we couldn't be happier for her.
Doug became a new member of CIBTC upon adopting "Lexi" so we are
looking forward to enjoying their company at Club activities in
the future.
ISABELLA (placed January 2008)
"Bella", our beautiful one
year old red and white female rescue, was placed in a warm home
in early January. Bella is now living in with her new
family in Ohio which includes another bull terrier and three
children. Previously the family had managed two bull
terriers in the household, and one had recently passed away.
A recent report from
the new owners was very positive as Bella is settling to her new
surroundings just fine.
Enjoy your new
playmates Bella. You sure are a sweet girl.
JAKE (placed
December 2007)
In
December of 2007, our rescue "Jake" was placed in his forever
home with his new mom "Bettye" and her retired thoroughbred
named "Lynnhurst"! It was mutual love at first sight for these
two...simply a match made in heaven.
"Jake" is residing in
Thomasville, Alabama where Bettye tells me he is loving the mild
southern temperatures and enjoying running and playing outside
in his fenced yard. It has even been reported that he has
obtained a girl friend already...named "Princess". Bettye
promises to send us pictures as he grows and matures and keep us
updated and informed of any concerns that may arise in the
future... but we really don't anticipate any. :)
Best wishes, Jake.
We know you will love your new Alabama home!
